Padaeng Industry Public Company Limited has today received information that the two major shareholders of the Company, Umicore and Nyrstar, have sold their shares of 22% and 24.9% respectively in the Company through Asia Plus Securities Public Company Limited into the market. 2. The Company has received resignation letters from Mr. Karel Vinck, Mr. Martin Hess and Mr. Bernard Tonnon, all of whom are representative directors of Umicore and Nyrstar. Mr. Bernard Tonnon also resigned from the Managing Director position of the Company. 3. The Company has urgently called a Board meeting No. 02-2008 on 4 April 2008 and has adopted the resolution to appoint Mr. Andre van der Heyden as new director and Managing Director replacing the post left vacant by Mr. Bernard Tonnon for the remaining term, effective from 4 April 2008 onwards.
