PDI.B.02.86/98 of 1 September 1998, this is to notify the SET that Padaeng Industry Public Company Limited has sold out all 400 shares held (representing 20% shareholding) in Asia Investment (1995) Co., Ltd. back to the said associated company. The book value of investment equal to US$100 per share (- i.e. US$1.00 par value plus US$99 premium) totalled Bt1,018,200. The net proceed from the share sale, based on the Asia Investment's net asset value as at 31 March 1999 averaging US$ 27.1 per share, totalling US$10,840 or Bt400,538 has been received on 7 May 1999. The company will acknowledge a loss on the above-referred disposition of investment of about Bt617,662 in the company's quarterly financial statements ended 30 June 1999.
