Padaeng Industry Plc (PDI) reported that as it offered 40,369,558 capital increased shares to the old shareholders at Bt10 each and received Bt402.28 million. In order to comply with the SET's board's announcement, the company would like to report the usee of its increased capital ending December 31, 1996 as follows: 1. As the capital for the project of increasing Zinc cathode production capacity from 73,000 metric tonnes/year to 105,000 metric tonnes/year in which thewhole capital will be used in the construction and installation of equipments at the zinc plant which is divided to; - The amount to payback short-term loan used in the project (prior to capital increase) of Bt176 million. - The amount used in the project (after the capital increase) Bt130 million. The project has been finished in some parts and has started test- running the machines since January 8, 1997. 2. The rest were used as working capital of Bt96.28 million.
