Padaeng Industry Plc (PDI) reported that at meeting no.5/1996, held on September 4, 1996, its board of directors resolved as follows: 1. To accept the resignation of Preecha Athawipatch from his position as the company's director, executive directorand as a director of the general of Department of Mineral Resources division. He has taken a new position as Undersecretary of the Industry Ministry on October 1, 1996. The board of directors resolved to appoint him as a company advisor, effective October 1, 1996. 2. To approve a joint investment with City Reality Co.,Ltd., to explore and develop zinc, lead, copper and silver sources (Block 9) in Myanmar. The venture will be named Asia Investment (1995) Co.,Ltd. The company will hold 20% of the registered capital. Details will be released after the signing of the contract.
